Funeral services for Geneva "Tootsie" Cloud Wilson, 69, of Lexington were held June 24, 2005 at Lexington First Baptist Church with the the Reverend Leon Wilson, the Reverend Buck Jordan and the Reverend Steve Lance officiating. Interment was at Lexington Cemetery under the direction of Wilson-Little Funeral Home in Purcell. Mrs. Wilson died June 21, 2005 at her home. She was born January 12, 1936 in Konawa, the second of four children of Jack Elmo Cloud and Alma Wiley Cloud. She was reared in the Trousdale, Corbett and Lexington areas and attended Lexington schools. She later married, had three children and worked for John Roberts Ring Factory in Norman. When her children were nearly grown, she married Leroy Wilson on February 15, 1974 in Gainesville, Texas, and they made their home in Lexington. After they were married, the Wilsons became interested in Volkswagons, and in 1978 they started Wilson's Volkswagons in Lexington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Leroy Wilson January 19, 2000 and a brother, Jackie Ray Cloud in 1996. Survivors include six children, Larry Horn and Darrel Horn and his wife, Patsy, all of Lexington, Carol Carr and her husband, Steve, of Noble, Steve Wilson and his wife, Karen, of Mustang, Andrea Truelove and her husband, David, of Newcastle and Chris Wilson of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Dortha Darling and her husband, Gary of Norman and LaVern Jennings of West Monroe, Louisiana.; one sister-in-law, Sherry Cloud Taylor and her husband, Greg, of Lexington and several grandchildren. Pallbearers were Steve Carr, Dane Jennings, Jeremy Cloud, Mickey Baker, Randy Qualls and Randy Simmons. Honorary pallbearers were Charles and Travis Barton, Don Jones and Tim Barton.
