Geraldine J. Cloud, age 81 and a resident of Konawa, Oklahoma, passed away December 5, 2020 at OU Medical Center in Oklahoma City.
A service will be scheduled in the spring, and cremation is under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Konawa.
Geraldine was born June 9, 1939 in Wolf, Oklahoma to Daniel Cloud and Annie (McCoy) Cloud. She married William Lankford on April 27, 1956 in Rocky, Oklahoma. Geraldine worked as a Certified Medical Assistant for Oakridge Nursing Home in Wewoka, Oklahoma, up until the time of her death. She loved the clients and was ?Mama? to all. Her work partner and friend, Mary was special to her. She was the matriarch of the family and the center of their strength. She had faith in God. The things she loved was family gatherings, friends, her job, plants of all kinds, shopping, and playing the casinos.
She is survived by five sons, Jimmy Lankford of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Frank Lankford and wife, Gina of Seminole, Oklahoma, Audie Lankford of Francis, Oklahoma, Ray Lankford and wife, Jodie of Parsons, Kansas; and Daniel Lankford of Byng, Oklahoma; four daughters, Delores Kravchak and husband Tom of Ada, Oklahoma, Tomasena Lankford of Konawa, Oklahoma, Natasha Lankford of Seminole, Oklahoma, and Tonya Lankford and husband, Keith of Konawa, Oklahoma; three sisters, Evelyn Coursey, Maxine Overbey, and Betsy Bender, all of Wewoka, Oklahoma; 28 grandchildren, and 29 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Annie Cloud; and four brothers, Lee, Barney, David, and King Cloud.
