Obituary:
Billie Leroy Cloud was born Dec. 11, 1931, in Yuma, Ariz.
He was the son of Joe Truman and Travis Dail (Eubank) Cloud.
Billie died June 8 at his Fort Rock home.
His folks moved to Garibaldi in 1946. He went to work at a mill there when he was 18.
Billie went into the Navy in January 1951 and was discharged in July 1954.
He and his wife, Marveen L. Lantz, were married July 20, 1954, in Yuma. He worked in plywood mills for many years before becoming a millwright in 1959 in Grants Pass.
Billie and Marveen lived in Fort Rock for 20 years.
Billie is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marveen; sons Darrell Leroy Cloud of LaPine, Dewayne Edward Cloud of Redmond and Raymond Lee Cloud of Beaver; grandchildren Billy Joe Cloud and Darrah Cloud; and seven great-grandchildren.
Family services will be held at a later date.
Arrangements were by Baird Memorial Chapel.
