Mar 17, 1978, Houston, Harris county, Texas, USA (Age ~ 80 years) Married circa 1914 Texas, USA [2] - It is curious that the 1930 census indicates they married in 1914, and they witnessed Olivette's brother's marriage in 1917 (Olivette giving her last name as Williams), but in 1920 Victor is living with J.W. & Evie Head as a lodger and listing himself as widowed.
In 1975, his daughter filed an amended birth certificate which had originally listed her mother as Ella Childress and now lists Selma Seybold as her mother. So Ella died either at childbirth or shortly thereafter and Selma assumed the role of her mother.
