He was born May 20, 1910 in Oklahoma. He had been a resident of Yoncalla since 1944. He is survived by his wife, Helen, of Yoncalla; a son and daughter-in-law, Wesley and Joy Gordon of Cottage Grove; a daughter and son-in-law, Johnnie and Don Pinson of Drain; eight grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services were held July 13 at the Drain Assembly of God Church with Delbert White officiating."
