The Liberty Vindicator, dated June 03, 1892. On the same page under "local news" as the obituary of his uncle, James G. Minter. the article read as follows:
"Mr. Jas. C. Minter, a druggist from Woodville, was in our town this week. He came solely for the purpose of attending the burial of Mr. Minter, who was his uncle. Miss Cynthia Morris accompanied him on his return home yesterday morning."
