Benson Cloud, Jr.
(March 15, 1944 - December 30, 2006) Funeral services for Mr. Benson Cloud, Jr. will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 1, 2007 in Oakhill Baptist Church, Oakdale with Reverend Wesley Lester officiating. Interment will follow in Oakhill Cemetery under the direction of Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale.
Mr. Cloud, 62, of Oakdale entered eternal rest on Saturday, December 30, 2006 in his residence. Benson was a member of Teamsters Union # 657 and Pipeline Construction Local # 692.
He was preceded in death by his father, Benson Cloud, Sr.; two sons, Scotty Cloud and Todd Cloud, and one brother, Roy Cloud.
Survivors include his companion, Geri Garcille of Oakdale; two daughters, Brandi Cloud Joubert of Mittie and Jocelyn Cloud of Dry Creek; one step-son, Eugene Marcantel of Mittie; his mother, Eunice Thigpen and step-father, Billy Thigpen of Oakdale; three sisters, Sue Treece of Oakdale, Betty Sander of Hornbeck, and Elaine Loftin of Oakdale; one half-brother, Jerry Cloud of Oakdale, and six grandchildren, Kacie Thompson, Kalie Joubert, Mason Joubert, Madison Joubert, Brode Joubert, and Kenson Cloud.
Friends may call at Oakhill Baptist Church, Oakdale on Sunday, December 31, 2006 from 2:30 p.m. until time of services on Monday.
