- Our Tom, he was the most adventurous. He was not afraid of anything or if he was he never let any of us know. I remember the most, the time that he and John Perry were chopping wood and the ax head came off the handle. It hit Tom in the head and they had to rush him to the hospital. The doctors where going to put him to sleep and he told them "NO, give me a mirror so I can watch what you are going to do. I want to look good when you are finished."
JOHNSON, George T. LCAP 7/7/2000 DERIDDER - Memorial services for George Thomas Johnson, 55, of Negreet, will be at 3 p.m. today, July 7, in Grace Church. The body was donated to science. Mr. Johnson died Thursday, July 6, 2000, in a Shreveport hospital.
